In this series of paintings, space, color, movement and organic shapes are utilized to suggest backgrounds, animals and people in animated films from my childhood. The films that particularly interested me were the Disney films with their soft rounded backgrounds and the animated bulbous shapes (think - the seven dwarfs). The paintings are full of action and dramatic color contrasts.
